Q: What is emerging adulthood?
A: Emerging adulthood is proposed as a developmental stage that lasts from the late teens into the late twenties (ages 18-29). To learn more about emerging adulthood, check out our blog here on the site!
Q: I'm not an emerging adult, so can I still enroll in the courses?
A: Absolutely! Though Rising Adults Academy was created to support emerging adults, anyone seeking to learn basic life skills can benefit from the courses!
Q: Do I have to pay a monthly subscription to be enrolled as a student?
A: No, there are no subscription fees. Just pay for the courses you want to take and that's it!
Q: How are your clothing products made?
A: We work with a print-on-demand drop shipper. They have locations worldwide, so depending on where you are, your orders are printed and shipped from the facility that can do it most efficiently!
Q: What t-shirt brands do you have?
A: We use brands such as American Apparel, Anvil, Alternative, Bella + Canvas, and Gildan.
Q: Where will my order ship from?
A: We work with an on-demand order fulfillment company with facilities worldwide!
Q: Will I be charged customs for my order?
A: An additional customs and tax fee can occur on international orders. This fee is not in our control and is assessed by your local customs office. Customs policies vary widely for every country so please check with your local customs office directly to see if they apply duties and taxes to your purchases.
Q: My order should be here by now, but I still don't have it. What should I do?
A: Before getting in touch with us, please help us out by doing the following:
● Check your shipping confirmation email for any mistakes in the delivery address
● Ask your local post office if they have your package
● Stop by your neighbors in case the courier left the package with them
If the shipping address was correct, and the package was not left at the post office or at your neighbor’s, get in touch with us at email@example.com with your order number.
If you did find a mistake in your delivery address, we can send you a replacement order, but shipping will be at your own cost.
Q: How do I track my order?
A: You’ll receive a tracking link via email when your order ships out. If you have any questions about your tracking or shipment, reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org .
Q: When will I receive my order in the mail?
A: Usually, it takes 3–7 days to fulfill an order, after which it’s shipped out. The shipping time depends on your location, but can be estimated as follows:
● USA: 3–4 business days
● Europe: 6–8 business days
● Australia: 2–14 business days
● Japan: 4–8 business days
● International: 10–20 business days

Our fulfillment times for all physical products may be longer than usual and may continue to increase until things get back to normal. We're seeing delays in our supply chain, including distributors and shipping carriers as the entire industry is grappling with challenges. We appreciate your patience!
Q: I received a wrong/damaged product, what should I do?
A: We’re so sorry if the product you ordered arrived damaged. To help us resolve this for you quickly, please email us at email@example.com within a week's time with photos of the damaged product, your order number, and any other details you may have about your order. We’ll get back to you with a resolution as soon as possible!
Q: Can I exchange an item for a different size/color?
A: At this time, we don't offer exchanges. If you’re unsure which size would fit better, check out our sizing charts, located on the product page. Though rare, it's possible that an item you ordered was mislabelled. If that’s the case, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org within a week after receiving your order. Include your order number and photos of the mislabeled item, and we’ll send you a new one, or issue a refund!
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: Physical Products: We only offer returns on items that are damaged or mislabeled. Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 4 weeks after the product has been received. Please kindly email us at email@example.com to request a refund due to damaged or mislabeled items. We do not offer returns for buyer’s remorse or wrongly ordered sizes. Please refer to the sizing chart on the product page to choose an appropriate size before purchasing.
Digital Products: We only offer returns on courses that have not been accessed within 14 days. In other words, if you have not started the course(s) within 14 days of the initial purchase date, you can receive a full refund. There are no returns on planners/journals, e-books, or workbooks.
Q: What if I completed the course but didn’t learn anything? Can I get a refund?
A: It is our hope that every student who completes our courses will gain knowledge on the skills that they sought to learn. However, per our return policy, no refunds will be given on courses that have already been started or completed within 14 days of the purchase date. It is our goal to provide students with basic knowledge on the key life skills that are important to reach success as an adult; and since you cannot refund knowledge, we do not offer money back on courses.
Q: In what ways can I support Rising Adults Academy?
A: Our main mission is to provide affordable access to life skills education for emerging adults and others in need, so we offer our basic level courses for only $10. When you purchase merchandise from our store, you are supporting Rising Adults Academy as a small business, as well as allowing us to fund more courses for students! Of course, we always appreciate recommendations! Please tell a friend or family member about our courses and merchandise!
